During this first day we will be inspired by visions on how to unlock the potential of digitisation as a tool for the development of the Alpine area and how to promote an innovative digital ecosystem in the Alpine region.

This will be followed by thematic workshops on various topics.

The workshop “Smart SMEs” will look at how to make Alpine SMEs smart and discuss the way ahead after the end of the Smart SMEs project.

In the workshop “The potentials of Open Data for the Alpine area” the potentialities of an Alpine Open Data community will be illustrated and a roadmap for the shared use of open data in the alpine area will be defined.

In the workshop “Future-proof digital infrastructures and platforms for the Alpine area” the main enabling and promising technologies for the Alpine area will be identified and a roadmap for developing future-proof digital infrastructures in the Alpine area will be defined.

In the workshop “Digitalization as an important factor to ease the access to Services of general interest. The case of E-Health” will discuss the problems in the provision of services of general interest in remote areas and how digitalisation, with a focus on E-health, can open up new possibilities for mountain regions.

Finally, ideas will be collected from the representatives of Youth.Shaping.EUSALP, which will be food for thought for the round table on the second day.
